[It seems like any other Friday in Luceti-- despite the experiment, the bakery is open for business as usual, and the scent of freshly-baked desserts and pastries is wafting from the door that has been propped open to allow air in. Nothing seems out of place at all.

... or does it? Regal might be smiling just a little bit too broadly as he goes about sweeping up the floor while he waits for customers...]

['Sup, Regal. One of your regular customers is heading in, giving him a wave as he heads to the case, only a little shaky from his return on Wednesday.]

Hi, Regal. What's good today?

Good morning, Link. The blueberry muffins turned out particularly well today, if I do say so myself, but you simply must try the cherry tarts. It's been quite a while since I've made a batch of those, but it seems I haven't yet lost my touch.

(OOC: That's fine by me!)

Cherry tarts, huh? Sure, I'll try one! [Fruit and pastry! Wonderful combination.]

Would you prefer that cold or warmed up?

[And he's already getting a cup of tea ready as well.]

Um... warmed up sounds nice, but it's kind of hot already. So just cold is okay!

[Aw, tea. Can he have hot chocolate instead?]

[ Someone is here for cake! And she's not leaving until she gets it.

Which probably won't be that hard to achieve since it's a bakery... ]

Good morning. [ smile ] Everything smells lovely today.

[Much to her luck, there are indeed several cakes on display at that very moment, and they all look quite delicious as well as artistic. Sometimes Regal gets just a little bit carried away with the decorating.]

And good morning to you as well. Would you like to try anything?

That's a difficult question to answer. Everything looks so lovely.

[ she walks over the cakes on display, her eyes lingering on one and then the next. it's obvious enough what she wants, even if she can't quite decide which one. ]

[Oh, he notices, and he moves to that side of the display with a smile.]

Do you have a favorite flavor in particular? I might be able to make some recommendations if I knew what you like best.

Hm... how about something chocolate? It's not just for me, I plan to share it with a friend.

[there's some stress on the last word... as if she's not entirely used to saying it. but her eyes seem to have set on one chocolate cake in particular, ornately designed.]

[The smell of freshly baked goods has Sheryl following her nose and leads her to discovering Regal's bakery. The sights before her delight her eyes, nose and tastebuds as she wanders inside to inspect the selection with demure curiosity. She won't say anything for the moment but she'll eventually make her way to the showcase where all the cakes are kept.]

This all looks amazing!

[Oh, a new customer? Regal doesn't recognize this girl; she must be a New Feather from the last cycle. Her enthusiasm is contagious, however, and he can't help but smile at her over the counter.]

Why thank you. Just let me know if you would like to sample anything and I will be happy to give you a taste.

[Vash makes one his many stops into the bakery. A big grin on his face.] Hey there, Regal! Do you have any fresh donuts today?

I would be a poor baker if I didn't have a batch ready for one of my most faithful customers.

And that makes you one of the best bakers in all of Luceti! One of my personal favorites!

[ Passing by the bakery was Martel. For the past weeks, she's been wondering around Luceti with no real destination in mind. It must have been because she had a lot to think about. Smelling the fresh pastries, she peeked inside and smiled. ]

Hello Regal! I didn't know that you worked at a bakery.

[Regal inclines his head in greeting with a smile when he spots her, glad to see that she's doing well (or at least, as well as can be hoped) after everything that's happened. Though he didn't participate in any of it himself, he heard bits and pieces, enough for him to know that this couldn't be an easy situation for her.]

Martel, I am glad to see you well. [He can't help but chuckle a little at her surprise.] I suppose you could say this is a hobby that turned into something a bit more than that. It isn't quite running a company, but it helps occupy my spare time here.

That's nice you have something to do while you're here. I should probably find something for myself to do too. Before I would usually be with . . .

[ Her voice trails off from there. She had unconsciously began to talk about Mithos. Though she shouldn't be. It was unnecessary to burden Regal with her troubles. Especially when he most likely had nothing to do with the incident. ]

[ She forced a smile and sedated her head. ]

By the way, I heard you're in a relationship with someone. Congratulations!
