[Seeing as it's still snowing, Regal is out in front of House 27 trying to clear the worst of it from the path and front steps before it gets too deep to be manageable. There's clearly something on his mind, however, as he doesn't seem to be paying that much attention to what he's doing, and every now and then he'll pause and just watch the snowflakes falling with a blank expression.]

[Kadaj approaches quietly, wearing his usual leather attire with a grin. It's not often that he ever approaches anyone, but when they look so down how can he possibly resist?]

Is it? [There's a soft chuckle, and he rolls his shoulders back, cracking them.] You seem down.

[In what may be the worst timing for anything ever, Miu's decided that she wanted to see Regal in person. So she's around his house. Of course, she can't just...walk up to him and say hi. No, that would be too normal. Instead, she's stuffed a pillow up her shirt.]

[O...kay, he's trying to figure out exactly what she's up to now. He thinks he's got a vague idea, but if he's right, that's a bit disturbing.]

[Rydia approaches on her way elsewhere, waving with a smile. Her hand lowers as she spots that blank expression, and her pace slows. Observing him for a moment, she heads over and pauses.]

...are you okay?

[The voice startles him out of his trance, and he looks over at her with a slight nod.]

Rydia. I'm fine... I was merely thinking. There has been much to think about lately...

[Her expression grows troubled. She doesn't like to think about that time, but if someone needs to talk about it, she won't deny them.]

[Spots Regal and pauses when he sees the expression the man is wearing. Although he doesn't know Regal that well, Soushi can't help but fell concerned. Regal helped him once after all. So approaching quietly before asking:]

Regal-san...? Are you alright?

[At the sound of the familiar voice, he snaps out of his daze and looks over at the boy.]

Forgive me, I was just lost in thought, but thank you for your concern. How have you been adjusting to Luceti?

He out of all of us deserved this chance the most. He and Sheena have been here far longer than any of the rest of us.
